Today was an amazing day. I met my new parents today. It was the craziest thing - for the last 13 days all of these nice nurses have been taking care of me. Its been great. They are so nice to me and seem to really love me. Well today an interesting thing happened. Around lunchtime, two new people came for a vistit. My favorite nurse showed them how to feed me and they stayed with me all day. They seemed so happy to spend time with me an cried the first time they saw me (how weird!!), but they seemed kind of cool. The lady smelled nice and kept hugging me and kissing me. The man too seemed to like holding me. I took a couple of naps but each time I woke up - guess what - they were still there. Go figure. They even seem happy when I cry - now thats just strange! Anyway, about 8 pm - the nurses told these folks that they could take me home. I am a little scared - and they seem scared too. I hope they know what they are doing..

Saturday, January 20th

First I got up and did the usual - ate cereal, ate bananas, had a bottle - had a few diaper changes - you know the drill. Then daddy gave me a tubby to make me nice and clean for the days trips.

First we went to vistit my friends daniella and joey. They live in queens and we had a good time at their house - although joey slept through most of the visit.

Then, the best part of the day. We met new ducky friends today. This mommy person is online talking to them all the time and finally I got to meet some of them. There were some really nice people there. There was a woman named Lorraine who held me and played with me for awhile - she was really nice. She totally understood how much I like to stand.

But best of all were all the ladies I met today. My favorite was my new girlfriend miss Sonia. She had the prettiest dress on - red with sparkly things on the wrists. She was so pretty I just had to reach out and grab her. Mommy tells me there are pictures of the two of us together - I cant wait to see them.
